Arcana was conceived the summer of 2009, but didn’t meet paper until the fall thereof. Since then, I’ve been writing, typing, and revising about 19 chapters plus a prologue for viewing on deviantART.

But as a first draft, its story was too complicated, with too many words, so I’ve narrowed the story down to the important stuff. And you’ll get to see that important stuff on a weekly basis, on Saturdays.

Arcana tells the story of awakening and ascension, of finding identities and memories, of friends and family, and of dragons and mages. An apocalyptic movement dawns over the world of Isaiis, and in order to prevent catastrophic results, its guardians must be resurrected by the hands of the Priestess of Light.

Yet humans are stubborn, convoluted creatures. Hopefully their natures won’t get in the way of healing the world.

  1. Hi,

I love the concept behind this blog so I nominated for The Liebster Award for upcoming bloggers. Check out the details at http://blaiselucey.com/2012/12/23/what-is-liebster-award/

    Keep writing,

    • Hello Blaise!

Thank you so much for the nomination! Frankly, I’m not exactly sure what to say…But rest assured, I will definitely keep writing. I know I probably shouldn’t be so driven by recognition like this, but it does help me to stay with my projects. Again, thank you very much.
